The MGCX Way was developed by acquisition practitioners who spent over six decades in the trenches, working tirelessly to succeed in the confines of a DoD acquisition system that has been in place since the 1960s. The MGCX Way works to apply disruptive innovation to the current DoD acquisition system by introducing new concepts, that seek to break the one-size-fits-all prescriptive model that destroys all attempts to innovate and expedite capability to the warfighter. The cornerstone of MGCX's success was the ability to innovate without fear of making mistakes and achieve the learned acumen to seek out and find relevant cost-wise solutions within other defense communities to improve the success of acquisition outcomes.
